Opinion: Why Have Bike Makers Ignored this Grassroots Fix?
@vinay: Minor improvements with almost no added cost, since the wholesale price of the wrap in China and the extra human time to apply it are both negligible there. Yet this will be marketed as the ultimate "WE CARE FOR YOU, OUR BELOVED CUSTOMERS!!!" tagline.

Yup, classic PB infomercial/field research. These opinion pieces are like their directed polls, nothing but product placement.

Video: Danny MacAskill Rides in the Foulest Weather Imaginable
@kmoter: I got a Chinese GoreTex jacket, marketed for Airsoft on eBay for 40 USD. Been using it through our shitty winter with good results. Not as specific or feature rich as the Ansilta, but has certainly been able to keep me warm and dry in ~2° C rainy days.

@igxqrrl: The Ansilta Criterium II jacket does a lot better than that. Several of my riding buddies have it and on top of it resisting rain and letting you sweat at the same time, has a lot of neat features.

Results: Lenzerheide DH World Championships 2018
@Trailstunter: it could surely do for a more diverse bike roster if some tracks would favor smaller wheels -tight turns, heavy stopping followed by explosive sprints to recover speed- while others would suit bigger wheels better -a la motorway some tracks already have. Although the latter ones would certainly be boring to watch, and I guess stamina and leg power would define who would take the top spot.
