Final Results from Red Bull Rampage 2023
Probably an unpopular opinion, however, Rampage should be about the most gnarly exposed and risky line on the hill, it should be about the rider vs the terrain. I dont think tricks should tricks should factor greatly. They should only be the deciding factor where two equally epic runs differ.

Pinkbike Poll: Who is the Unofficial Red Bull Rampage Pinkbike's Choice Winner?
From a slightly different perspective, Brendogs line was without a doubt the best on the hill, no contest. the exposure, the risk in itself was mind blowing. He put down some solid tricks but Rampage has evolved. as much as as i dislike the slopestyle "scene". theres no doubt that the judges have had to adjust to placate the scene kiddies. If Brendog wants to take a W he needs to pull a bigger repertoire of tricks. Brendog is still the hero of the day for me though!

Commencal Clash, S

$1575 GBP
Built up this bike in Early/mid 2021, frame was used but hadnt seen much use when I got it. I used it a fair bit through 2021 however it has seen little use over the last year. Due to work and other activities I just dont get time to ride it anymore. Its in pretty good condition overall, a few marks here and there but no cracks or anything structural just some paint chips/scratches etc. Rear mech cage got bent at one point but I managed to get it back functional, as it works I never got round to replacing it but its something new owner might want to look at. Also, rear tyre is past its best, still plenty life in it though. If you require any further information, just give me a shout! Looking for around £1600, may consider reasonable offers. Final Results from the Snowshoe World Cup DH #2 2021
He'd have been in for a chance at the top spot for sure!!! Gutting but he can end this season knowing he was right on the pace. So happy for SuperBruni though, I can never be sad to see him do well! so deserved!

Fort William DH World Cup to Take Place Without Spectators
There are two points to raise here. Firstly - Have you seen previous Fort William WC events? I've been to a lot of them, they may be outdoors but theres no chance of social distancing, especially with the "enthusiastic" crowd you get at this event. It is one of, if not the biggest crowd of the season. The finish arena isnt the biggest of areas and it gets packed with thousands of people. Secondly - The UK and Scotland specifically have quite strict COVID restrictions, and cannot be compared to the rather risky/borderline cowboy approach that the US has taken on the pandemic. We are still in a national Lockdown with easing measures only coming into effect towards the end of this month, and there will very likely still be pretty strict limitations of gatherings and events by the time this event comes around. I get it though. We are all fed up of these restrictions on life now, I'm feeling some serious lockdown fatigue at the moment and would love nothing more than to just rev off restrictions. but to throw away the effort of the past year to hold an event with a crowd just seems silly. I think the Fort William world cup team and Nevis Range crew have made the right decision. Although it will be sad to miss another pilgrimage to Fort Bill this year. I'll at least be happy to watch it on TV.

Video: Reece Wilson Puts in the Hard Work in 'What Are You Chasing?'
Top work dude! Dont sweat the negative vibes, just keep on doing what you do! As for the subject of the video, I think everyone who was on the side of the mountain last summer to watch that young lad get on the podium will attest to the pure humble nature of the guy, so much emotion and joy on that afternoon. I for one hope Recce has a mega season on his new team and I'd love to see him take more podiums and climb higher up those steps, and see that hard work pay off, I want to see that Saltire waving strong and proud. If I can get the time off work I'll for sure be back on that hill cheering him on again this year.

Scott Gambler 10 Large

$850 GBP
2013 Scott Gambler 10 Large Selling as just not getting used enough, pains me to do it and I know I will regret selling but its just not practical keeping it around for the off chance that I might use it 3 or 4 times a year, which is realistically what it gets at the moment. Condition is decent, a few chips dings etc but nothing structurally damaging and absolutely no cracks or stress marks which was checked for thoroughly when it was stripped down for paint. Basically, as can be expected of a DH rig of this age. I have looked after it best I could with regular servicing and new parts as and when required. New bearings, suspension hardware kit and rear axle fitted about a year ago, was given a fresh respray in satin black last spring along with a full strip down service and has been used maybe 3-4 times since and will have little to no prospect of using it in the next 6-12 months due to work commitments. Spec: Frame - Large 2013 Scott Gambler 10 frame sprayed black, with original Fox RC2 with newly fitted CC Valt spring and Rockguardz Carbon DT protector. Fork - Fox 40 coil, with 2013 stanchions. internals and crowns with newer version lowers (Unsure of year 2014/15/16 maybe). Wheels - 26" Spank Spoon 32, Rear hub is a Hope Pro2 with Schwalbe Mary/HD tires, will throw in a Rock Razor as well Brakes - Hope tech 3 V4 with Hope 203mm rotors Drivetrain - Saint crank, Saint shifter, XT mech, think its a slx cassette with deore chain, hope chainring, DMR vault pedals Cockpit - Renthal bar and stem, DMR Deathgrip grips, SDG I beam post and I-Fly saddle Think thats everything, bike is running sweet at the moment, wish I could justify keeping it. In over 20 years of riding this is easily the bike i felt most at home with and its going to be painful to part with but I really have to be realistic. Ideally looking for a quick sale at ~£850, however open to offers. Collection only from Catterick area. Any questions give me a shout.
