Velosolutions Indoor Pump Track at the 417 Project
I love DH and I love trails, in fact I love being on my bike which is a "1 bike does all" I have ridden all the bike parks mentioned above on the 1 bike and see no need for a DH rig in the UK. I see what messy is saying he wants a DH specific park almost, but unfortunately in the UK the money / market is middle of the road. My suggestion is invest and make your millions and do it your self but to be fair and myself and my mates have this conversation all the time most not all but most of the UK can be ridden on a 170/ 180mm travel bike. The added "cream on the top" is the uplift service which means you get more runs in and are less knackered. The true spirit of MB'ing is riding your bike and as we old folk say (yes Iam an old boy) no pain no gain. So stop worrying and push / ride your bike to the top and enjoy every second on the way down as you've earned it. Or buy a 1 way euro ticket to the Alps and ride mountain not steep hills, then when you've come back here to the UK your appriecate the 20min push up as aposed to the 2/3 hrs hike. Also big up the 417 project as it take big balls to risk it all and a lot of passion time money to make a project like this happen.
