First Ride: Maxxis Highroller III Tire - DH Race Ready
@AndrewHornor: it looks like the knobs might be a bit shorter on the HR3. I've used both the shorty 2 and the hillbilly T9 and would guess the hillbilly fits between the the shorty and HR3

The T9 hillbilly is also amazing value for a soft condition tyre.

Throwback Thursday: Ben Cathro's 2009 Orange 225 Prototype Bike Check
I've never liked the lines of most orange bikes but for some reason their DH bikes over the years often looked really good to me.

Airdrop Bikes Previews New Edit MX
I've seen the new privateer in the flesh in a couple of different sizes and the kink is far less obvious than it looks in photos. I didn't like the first photos I was but bike looks good in person. That being said I still much prefer the straight lines of my first gen 161. This Edit looks good though, simple solid lines. I know a few guys with airdrop bikes and they have been pretty bombproof. Now they are not exclusively 27.5 I'd be keen to try one.

First Look: 2024 Commencal Meta SX V5
Is 3mm really a meaningful difference in chainstay length? Is there a formula for how much a chainstay should grown if you are trying to keep things proportional to growing reach numbers? I realise there is a great deal of subjective preference but, manufactures talk about carefully balanced designs yet chain stays seem to be an afterthought.

Video: Henrik Jensen Rides Flat Out in Surrey Hills
@AMc224: ha, that would explain it, I haven't been in the far, far, far south west corner of the Surrey hills.
