I'm not seeing anything about a range extender for this one. I think that's a real difference-maker in the lightweight eMTB market. Trying to squeeze in some after-work laps in an hour or two? On-board battery is probably good enough. Want to go on a big ol' 12 hour epic or keep up with the full power bikes? It'd be cool to just plug in additional watt-hours.

Fair point to my other comment! If ya got multiple bikes, might as well bring 'em, but last summer I spent 3 solid days of riding everything in CH on my 140/140 bike. All day shuttles on Brockway and Mountain Lodge, next day 16 shuttles at East Bluff, including lots of Citrus Tech, and then the entire KPT out n back on the last day. Any ol' "trail bike" will do just fine.

If they're putting in that many miles on Saturday, I'm guessing a lot of that will be on the Keweenaw Point Trail, perfectly suited to a hardtail. If I were doing this trip, I'd bring a big bike for the East Bluff day (and/or any runs down Danimal, Overflow, Flying Squirrel) and an efficient bike for Saturday.
