1 Frame, 3 Setups: We Timed Every Build to Find the Fastest | Trek Fuel EX vs MX vs LX
from what I understand it's super minor changes in wheelbase/ttl/seat tube angles due to the motor. But we are talking like .1° and just a few mm's.
Essentially other than a motor, it's the same bike.

Trek Appears to be Rejoining the Flex-Stay ‘Cookie Cutter’ XC Bike Movement (Updated With More Photos)
If the new Top Fuel was flex stay and 130/120 with 2 water bottles I'd sign up for that all day long. I've been eyeing the Epic 8 Evo for that specific reason. I have the Gen 3 TF but 2 water bottles and lighter is what i'm after for my "trail" bike.

kiddo is 15 months almost and nowhere near a KRS seat. She is however on a Thule Yepp Mini (basically a KRS but more of an infant seat) and we've gone on a few rides this winter. It's fun getting her out and about. She is pretty quiet but takes it all in.

Idk where you go from here. Realistically the only thing that I see as a glaring issue is the der. My Top Fuel does basically everything I'd ever want it to do. It has storage, great pedal platform and handles just about everything the mid-west has to offer.
