E*thirteen Announces New Close Range & Wide Range Cassettes
I don’t understand why all e-bikes are not downhill bikes. I mean if you have a motor just carry the biggest rig.

First Ride: Devinci's Chainsaw is a Canadian-Made Park Ripper
People are still going to argue about 1mm of chainstay or .02 degree of head angle. Or the color.

5000$ for a DH bike is cheaper that a lot of used bike on Pinkbike buy and sell. LOL.

Video: 'Pink It & Shrink It' - Why Don't More Brands Make Women's Specific Bikes?
It's great to see more women riding. But what the lady at Trek says is true it use to be intimidating for girls to ride, the whole industry was very Metal Bro attitude. A Liv is the first bike I manage to convince my wife to get on. And women only mtb groups and camps have help her progress. She now rides a Rocky mountain But I made sure she demoed it first since the geo is much different that was she's use to. We still have the Liv and my Son rides it now. I don't think he cares. Hell if you had given me a full suspension bike when I was 14 even if it was barbie pink I would have taken it.

Opinion: Why Weight Doesn't Matter
1000g tires are not light you should have compared to 600g. I had very light tires and it was glorious for climbing but they last 2 weeks and my rims got destroyed. You have to take the weight off where you can so you can put it where it matters to you. Where I ride the trails are made of knives and saw blades, so the heaviest tires are a must. But I don't need 180mm of travel or an Enduro frame so that's where the trade off is. Same thing if you are heavy on the shifters you may want to prioritize a drive train that last vs a light one.

Video: Grim Donut Part 3 - We Made It Less Terrible
I came here looking for that comment. Anybody who as ridden a DH forks will tell you the huge difference it make in stability and stiffening the front. I had two enduro bikes That I have turned int DH bikes by putting Boxxers on them and it's night and day.

The only downside if the cable routing? I think the mention of weigh should have been there. Anyway looks like a good deal overall.
