How Are Fans Watching Mountain Biking? - State of the Sport 2024
@toast2266: If you already have max you will still have to pay for an additional "add on" sports service, B/R sports, to watch bike events. $10/month or $6/month if you pay for a full year upfront. As far as I know, that's the only US option, so if you don't already have max you have to get that and B/R sports.

The axes on all these graphs should be switched, it would make visualizing the data much easier.

Highlights, Results & Analysis from the Cape Epic 2024 Stage 3
It's really good coverage, but if you think about it while watching, it's a completely different scenario compared to enduro. A huge amount of the race happens on double track, whether it's tarmac, graded gravel road or slightly washed out fire roads. All places where a motorcycle with a driver and cameraman can easily ride ahead of, next to, or behind a pack of riders and pass them at will like the TDF. The vast majority of it seems to take place in wide open terrain where a helicopter or drone can capture all the action easily. And for the single-track, an e-bike rider with a camera catches a lot of the action from behind the pack. These three types of coverage seem to make up 90%+ of the action, and none of them are possible with enduro.

Video: Claudio Caluori Chases Nino Schurter Through the Jumps of Chur Bike Park
When the trees go from 90 degrees at the center of the screen to 45 degrees at the edge, then yes, some serious GoPro effect is taking place. I remember watching a video of three or four guys riding along what appeared to be an insanely dangerous and incredibly narrow trail, only inches from the edge of a sheer drop of hundreds of feet. At one point they came upon a family of hikers including an old woman who was clearly over 70. The family casually took a couple steps toward the drop off and smiled while the bikers passed. By the time they were at the edge of the screen they all looked like they were in a limbo contest, bent over 45 degrees.

Celebrating National Tourism Week in Canada with 10 of Our Favourite Canadian Bike Destinations
@cueTIP: Oh golly, you dropped the f-bomb, I guess you have a stronger argument. LOL! As a country Canada can do whatever it wants. 3-5% mortality rate is how the doom and gloomers and politicians sold the weak willed people on national economic suicide in both countries. Now that they have destroyed the economies they will never even recognize the FACT that the rate is .25%. Twelve to twenty times less. And people like you will let them get away with it.

Celebrating National Tourism Week in Canada with 10 of Our Favourite Canadian Bike Destinations
@idontknowenduro: And last week the CDC (US government) released their latest best estimate of fatality rate for those who get the virus and test positive. It's about .5%. A VERY conservative estimate would be that half the people that get the virus are asymptomatic or never get tested, that makes the fatality rate .25%. Not much different than a bad flu season, but people that have said that all along were called idiots and told they were nothing less than murderers if they questioned the lockdowns.

And, not everyone needs to be sitting straight up like they are on a bar stool. At least for the 120 bike the SA is too steep if you are going to be doing much pedaling and long days.
