The New Giant Stance E+ and Liv Embolden Are Value Priced eMTBs
Being a GIANT bike manufacturer, they don't get the love they deserve. I've owned a few different Giant bikes over the years. STP's, road bikes and a gen2 reign E+2. The reign eeb is by far the most bang for your buck fun bike I've ever purchased. I've had a bunch of bikes, Yeti, Spesh, Transition. all fun, but this full power monster truck is stupid fun. I thought it wouldn't be for everything, but I just seem to keep using it and try to destroy it. Everywhere. It's been awesome. I know, I know. Reigns are a bit different than the stance for sure. But for an entry level I bet it's a great option. My Reign has some suspension upgrades (38/and a coil), but other than that, I feel it's punching in way higher than the bikes value.

Review: Fair Bicycle's Drop Best Offset Saddle Clamp Looks Weird, Works Great
Bikes change because trails change. What was once a big travel bike can now be considered an enduro. Will it crush your local XC trail with the 30 percent grade up and around switchbacks?. Nah, but for the guy pedaling up the 2 mile climb trail to bomb down miles of wide open, full blast trail. Then this is it. Or for goobers like me that ride heavy (do it all, really though) sleds because light bikes are flimsy.

Video: Do You Really Need DH Casing Tires?
I've had all of the Kryptotals. They work great for my area. I have had a set of the trail casings on a sentinel which is my xc/fun lil bike, a set of enduro casings on a spire and a dh rear/enduro front on my 160 ebike which I ride way to hard. I love them all for the applications, aside from the trail casing tires. They may be prone to blow off the rim. I had the exact same scenario and result on a smaller jump last year. Landed rear wheel heavy, a little off and burped the rear tire almost off. Never would have happened in any other tire. The rest of the casings are great. I just think the trail is not meant for much more than any trail riding over a green level of riders speed.

A Look Back at the History of the Transition Bottlerocket
Exciting to see! I imagine with the absence of a decade the geometry may be designed and updated to be useful at bike parks and for todays freeride. Maybe less flowtrail and more backyard and bmx'ish. I can't imagine this thing getting shorter chainstays. More than likely it will be a painted patrol with a medium sticker on size small frame. Not really, but I hope you get the point. Size down if you want a flickable bike. I'm 5'9 on a small 1st gen spire. Super fun on everything but wide open flow trails haha. Gets a little twitchy...

Jul 22, 2025Verde DLX radix
$550 USDVerde Radix DLX DJ 26” bike, upgraded. 4130 chromo frame, Manitou circus expert 100mm air sprung fork, Sram hydraulic brake, shadow conspiracy chain and chain adjuster/tensioners. The bike has been lightly ridden and well taken care of. Take it to the BMX track, the local dirt jumps, skate parks or just roll around town and have fun. It’s a great bike. Comparable to $1400 bikes on Dans Comp new. I can get better pics of the bike as requested or come check it out.
