This happened to me on a similar sized ride last year, had some challenges and finished 40 miles short of my goal. Learned some lessons, sat with it for a year then decided to do it again (finished it this time). A takeaway this year was that for me most of the enjoyment occurs in the first 100 miles so I am not in a hurry to ride over 200 miles again.
