Giant Trace Advanced Carbon Frame, Wheels, Bars + more

$2800 USD
Up for sale is Giant's do it all trail bike. This frame is a warranty replacement I received October 26, 2019. That same day I flew the bike to Las Vegas for a conference and rode at Bootleg Canyon (DH & enduro trails) and the following week raced a 25 hour endurance race "25 Hours in Frog Hollow". This bike really can do it all. Locally the trance is very well suited to riding at trails like the Wissahickon, Marsh Creek, Trexler, and even the rockier steeper trails like Spring Mountain, Mount Penn, & French Creek. Specs: -Carbon Frame 140mm rear DPX2 -Fox 34 fit 4 150mm -Sram GX Eagle 12 Spd Drivetrain -Sram Guide RS Brakes -Giant TRX0 carbon wheelset (has the upgraded 54t ratchet for very high engagement) 28 spoke straight pull -2.5 Maxxis DHF front & 2.5 High Roller rear -Giant Contact 150mm Dropper -New specialized Grips (because coronavirus) -Carbon RaceFace Next 35mm Handlebars and 40mm syntace stem Bike weighs ≈27 lbs depending on tires. Fork serviced by Shock Pro Suspension December 2019. Downtube, seat stays, chainstays protected with shelter tape https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynlxj7X86Nw&t=3s Prefer local, not interested in shipping. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/giant-trance-advanced-1-review-2017.html This review is for the previous year, but they put a better rear shock on it for 2018.

Field Trip: 8 Value Bikes Hucked to Flat in Super Slow Mo
They say carbon is stiffer than AL but these videos always show the carbon bikes flexing- the aluminum doesn't seem to flex at all...

First Ride: Guerrilla Gravity's 160mm Gnarvana Enduro Bike - Pond Beaver 2020
@freeriderayward: I have a Revved Guerrilla Gravity Smash- and figured the same thing, would be packed full of dirt and mud. I ride in the North East, often in muddy conditions, definitely conditions that lend to ruined bearings, and crud in all places of the bike. I can say this design works and the cable channel has stayed impressively clean.

Wolf Tooth Components Announces New Mega Fat Paw Foam Grips
Better with gloves, worse without gloves. Especially slick when wet/sweating.

Wolf Tooth Components Announces New Mega Fat Paw Foam Grips
I like the Wolf Tooth Fat Paws better than my previous go-to grips the ESI Chunky's.

Wolf Tooth Components Announces New Mega Fat Paw Foam Grips
The \ Fat Paws are my favorite grips to date and I don't have XL hands. Awesome dampening and fatigue resistance. The XL size help stop over-gripping and arm pump. I use ODI locking bar ends to prevent the foam from ripping on crashes/bouncing off trees. Highly recommend the Fat Paws, and very interested in the Mega Fat Paw Cams.
