I remember when I worked at a little online shop in the early 00s, we had a Risse Bigfoot fork hanging in the shop. The days of the massive huck bike culture. Good times.

3 Handmade Enduro Bikes from Bespoked Osaka 2026
The opportunity to play around with the frame bits and learn the ways Toshiya engineers his frames, was definitely a highlight for me at the show. Been lusting after one of those Tobukumo frames for a while. Being able to put my hands on one and chatting with the builder was such a cool experience.

Back in the day KHS had a really strong presence in racing series all over North America. They had a lot more of a grassroots kind of ethos. It was cool to see them building bikes for every budget, niche, and competition level.
