I actually don’t hate it.
- It still eliminates the tube/casing interface for better tire deformation
-still lower weight than tube
- provides increased likelihood of retaining air in a significant dent/crack in rim
- might? If they are believed increase bead hold at low pressures
- can still inject sealant - less mess
- reduces rim taping/seal from equation
- if it does end up ripping eventually just cut it and use as a normal tire
Curious how it would hold up in the real world…. And if any of the possible benefits pan out…but interesting approach
