The idea is really nice. Changing too many variables doesnt really clarify the impact of one of them, tho. Many of us have tried short cranks, or riser bars. so changing frame size + stem should be enough change...

@iwillhunt: you are right about this. Getting older should also mean growing wiser and humbler. I know I can't do the same things I did in my 20s or 30s. If I want to ride as far as back then, it means lots of training, and suffering.
I look at the upcoming of exo-skeletons with growing unease: So many of us older guys will use them to climb heights they aren't supposed to. It's the same thing already with ebikes, unfortunately
