Giant Reign 1.5 2016 Size Small- great for growing kids, or shorter adults. - this is a French spec reign, all the kit of a carbon bike on an aluminium frame. Cranks are 165mm which suits shorter riders, front chainring I changed to an XT 30t to make climbing easier for my kids. It has been invisframed on the frame, fork lowers and cranks from new so no major scratches or wear but it is 7 years old so it has had a life with 2 kids using it. 160mm Travel frame Fork RockShox Pike RC Solo Air, 160mm, QR15mm Shock RockShox Monarch Plus Debonair R Drive train is mostly XT, the cassette and chain were renewed with KMC chain and sunrace cassette. Shifting is perfect. The giant seatpost died and we replaced with a KS LEV 100mm travel. Its externally routed, but the bike has slots for internal routing also if you change posts in the future. The wheels were upgraded to Stans Baron, tubeless, my daughter killed the rear rim so we got a stronger raceface. These wheels are wide so take the WT type tyres, better for grip and decsending. Stem, bars and grips are spank spike, stem is 35mm for short reach. All the shock linkage bearings are nearly new, bottom bracket is 10 rides old, wheel bearings all done recently. Brakes are XT, but left lever is DEORE as we snapped the old one in a crash. Seatpost clamp is a Chromag QR, with a huge bronze bush, these are the best QR's in the world and easy to adjust. I have spare bearings, bottom bracket, shock linkage, tyres, mech hangers. I even have a coil shock I could sell you separately. However the great thing about air is that you can adjust the forks and shock as they get heavier. Come and have a look.
