Review: Enve’s M735E Wheels Fail Our Test
a lot of how long your wheel set will last in conditions they was testing has gotta be down to tyre choice and pressures also, I think tyre choice on ebikes for aggressive riding is critical, more so than on normal bikes. Your going to crack carbon rims with piss poor tyres or too low pressures on super rocky technical high speed terrain, like your gonna bend alloys ones.
only tyres I have found that arnt to flexi and can handle the Rocky Peaks etc. and extra weight and speed that the ebike can maintain/carry over rough terrain are Schwalbe super gravity/DH tyres, everything else will just flex and cause huge impacts and bend my rims, unless I run crazy pressures.

Aug 13, 2018Mondraker Foxy XR Carbon 11.9kg
$1600 GBPMondraker Foxy XR 2015 Model,
Front Forks and Rear Shock both serviced on the 3rd of August 2018 by Sussed out Suspension, I got also the rear shock fitted with an additional volume spacer, which gives the shock a more of a progressive tune in the top part of the stroke.
All frame pivot bearings changed 6 rides ago
rear cassette, front chainring and chain all changed 6 rides ago
Rear Wheel bearings changed 6 rides ago, didn't bother with the front as they are fine.
had the bike fully invisi framed from new, I took off the downtube and top tube last weeknd as was looking grubby and wanted to see how clean it was underneath, its completely mint, apart from one area near the bottle cage which has a few scratches I will attach pictures.
the rear brake lever had a bit of Carbon Weive flake off so i rebonded the leaver to ensure integrity wasn't lost. this was 6 months ago and zero issues, will post a picture.
its a top bike i have had it from new, i am in no rush to sell it, its got all the modern geomentry numbers you want from a trail/enduro bike, its climbs very well, i ripped out the remote lockout as the bike just doesn't need it and looks messy on the handlebars
