Poll: What Would You Change About Bike Geometry?
As a fellow 5'10", I can't size up to larges like I used to. 485mm+ reach is too much. 465mm is the sweet spot but seems to be hard to find.

Pedestrian safety was increasing in the US until the mid-2000s where the trend reversed, which seems to correlate with the size of trucks in the US. That, plus the likelihood of getting sucked under vs going over the hood, means increased injuries and fatalities.
