@CustardCountry: The problem is that the outer clamp on the revgrips prevents you from home making one. You either have to ditch the outer clamp (and lose all the suspension) or make an outer bar end that has the suspension bit built into it. With the outer clamp in place you can't get your hand up next to the bar end like you need to.

I want more info on these Revgrips bar ends. I've got revgrips on all my bikes and had to downgrade my DH bike just to get bar ends (and i do like them...damnit!).

I assume the Dissector comparison is against a new Dissector. Once the Dissector has a few rides on it, it's a totally different tire...and not in a good way.

@nicoenduro: Most MTB dampers that i'm aware of don't change their damping based on where they are in the stroke (though some do have hydraulic bottom out for the last 10-15mm). What you're describing is something wrong with the air spring or a pressure build up in the lowers or something.

@nicoenduro: I think this is one of the big problems with forks. People don't know the difference between a damper (what dougal would have tuned) and an air spring (what you're describing).
