For this year’s
Bike Show, the VIMFF is featuring a presentation by
Patrick Lucas, founder of the Indigenous Youth Mountain Bike Program. His presentation “Balance & Momentum” will share how utilizing bikes and our sense of play can help us find a pathway through our time of crisis.
Anthill will also be showing the global premiere of their new film
Lightfall. It’s the story of Sterling Lorence and his process to get the perfect shot in the dank and misty mountains of Vancouver’s legendary North Shore, with riders Jackson Goldstone and Brett Rheeder.
In addition, there will be the global premiere of
Originate//Inspiration, the story about big mountain skier Michelle Parker, who leaves her skis behind in search of inspiration in new environments, the North American premiere of
After the Storm and the film
Distant Dharma which takes you to the frozen Alaskan wilderness on a fatbike.
