Reece Potter Takes Flight - Video
I've owed Zerode G1's and G2's, and your right they are unconventional feeling. They are truly a "racers" bike that require a little more muscling around then your mainstream Dh rigs and I won't lie I wasn't partially impressed with the way it took corners. And there was no denying that its heavy. It felt sluggish at low speed and never really popped out of burms. Although, where it lacked in cornering it made up for in stability at speed and its rock gobbling capability. It was a shining star when you were giving full commitment pace and only seemed to really show its true colours when going balls to the wall. The no derailleur thing was really nice, and you could really set and forget the system and spend many laps maintenance free. Although theirs claims that suspension was not effected under baking I found that it defintly stiffened up and lost traction. I would buy another one if it managed to shed a few pounds, but for the money that they are going for at the moment they are defiantly worth a look if your in the market for a new frame.
