GoPro Launches New Hero 9 with 5K Video & 2 Screens
My videographer buddy records in 8k for (essentially) YouTube videos. When I asked WHY??!?? He said so that he can zoom into the shot in post and basically do whatever he wants in editing and still maintain full 4k/1080 resolution. And now I get it.

Results: Swiss XC National Championships 2020
Whoa that's a good point. I mean, it wouldn't totally surprise me. I might be a fanboy, but Jolanda is that damn good and had something to prove - to herself if nobody else

Tech Randoms - Crankworx Rotorua 2020
You really shouldn't use Simple Green to wash bikes. Since it's pretty basic (as in, a pH above 7), it can be harmful to paints and drivetrains. Yes...I know that you and I know of plenty of people that have used Simple Green for years and have never had a problem. But I've also first hand seen it take off the clear coat from Shimano components and wear down the paint on a frame pretty bad. Plus, Shimano now puts in its chain manuals to only use pH neutral cleaners. This was in direct response to people using Simple Green and they have seen chains degrade prematurely due to this and apparently havfe seen some chains break on people from heavy Simple Green use. TL:DR - bike-specific bike/drivetrain cleaners actually usually work pretty well. Or if you're cheap - just use a heavy mix of Dawn dishwashing detergent. That stuff is amazaballs. Source: I was a Product Manager of a line of bicycle lubricants and cleaners.

Randoms Day 2 - Core Bike 2020
(nearly) All rotors have indents on the outer edge of the rotor. Whenever you measure the rotor thickness - either with this or calipers - you need to measure at one of these indents to account for misaligned calipers
