Gee Atherton Shares Hospital Update After Heavy Crash in Bolivia
What's the point of this comment? Are you calling Gee out for being poor since he clearly can't afford carbon rims?

5Dev Launches "Shredville" Cockpit, Bridging Drop and Flat Bars to Skirt New Leadville Ruling
I'm the exact type of freak show bike rider these are geared towards and I think sq labs inner bar ends would fit the type of riding in that video better unless you are converting a drop bike to flat bars. You can still brake from the inners and they are cheaper. Given the actual MTBing I do on my drop bar mtb, having drops is way more useful for a lot of the riding, plus descending in drops really isn't that bad given the type of terrain you are likely "descending". I've gone down some super sketchy shit in my drops and having a dropper post is way more crucial to the operation that having flat bars.

Specialized vs Santa Cruz vs Carbon Wasp - We Review Each Other's XC Bikes
@mikekazimer: sorry I didn't use the right verbiage (shootout/review ect) but the article says XC. All I'm saying is that people will obviously call that out. That tallboy weighs almost 10lbs more than my blur, which also has a Pike.
I understand that to Matt that is an xc bike though, our priorities are very different.

Specialized vs Santa Cruz vs Carbon Wasp - We Review Each Other's XC Bikes
@mattbeer: Well what exactly is XC about your tallboy? Is it the increased travel, the piggyback shock, the pike, the weight or the fact that it's not Santa Cruz's XC frame? You guys can't post an XC shootout with a full on trail bike then get upset when people call it out.

People use clipless to hide deficits too. Like me, I can't bunny hop for shit, but I can hop over things with my clipless pedals like a boss.
