@txcx166: lithium (minerals) etc sky rocket without change in battery tech, you honestly believe batteries for bikes (will have priority? Or bike companies be able to keep the price bearable for the average consumer?

$175 CADHad this rack for 1 year. It carries 2 heavy bikes (25kg weight per bike / 50kg total), it is strong and secure and it folds for easy storage. E-bike compatible, this product is just perfect for e-mtb. Rubber holders to restrain bike, so bike frame not damaged. Solid steel structure that can recline for easy trunk access! Meant for 1 1/4'' hitch but adapter (NOT INCLUDED) can make it go to 2”. Keys for lock on bicycle frame sockets need to be reordered (lost them). I have replaced those before, they’re free from the company, just have to pay shipping. The pipe insulator on the carrier was meant just to protect my carbon bike frame. @jomacba: Ya, I ride DH exclusively but live in Toronto, so almost every weekend pack up and drive to Bromont (QC).. 1250km round trip… even totalled my car doing it last year lol
