From the videos it looked like there was snow covering the piste sections of the track until fairly recently, so the jumps in the open were likely a rush job.

Apologies if you've covered this already, but would it be best to use "control rotors" similar to when you use control tires in the grouptest to put the brakes on a level playing field? Maybe a neutral brand like Galfer.
