Dartmoor are very very low quality. I am now at my second Cody frame that cracked near the headtube. Also the K-Drive hub with the axle that failed, now the driver in under 1 year of usage.

A long absence from the North American market. Honestly, did anyone from the North American market even desire this brand to come to our shores? Not saying anything bad about the brand, but there are just so many bike brands out there, how do you expect to survive in a market that doesn't even know you exist? The amount you'd have to spend on marketing would be greater than the amount you'd earn in sales.

Yes actually! Dartmoor was here about 4 years ago and did very well. There is a fair amount of people who have sought after this brand for their high end dirt jump components and complete bikes, as well as their XC/AM and FR/DH frames. You may be surprised to learn that a lot of people have actually been searching for this brand. To reply to your last comment, we've already garnered sales, and haven't spent any money on marketing. Sorry you feel this way.

Yeah, a lot of us really want this brand. They offer really good parts selection at really, really good prices. I suppose you don't see much worth from them as you have more of an XC background, but for street, park, and dirt riding? They're making some of the best bang for your buck products currently on the market.

And to say the market doesn't know of Dartmoor is completely ignorant. Those who do the style of riding they're interested in DEFINITELY know about their company. They're not some no-name Euro startup.

It's so lovely in person, it's a fine mixture of purple, blue, and gold that just morphs into a beautiful chrome finish that can't be compared.

If you don't seem to think that Dartmoor AL frames fail considerably more often than offerings from other manufacturers than you are clearly lying to yourself. I've scene quiet a few Dartmoor 26 players around Ottawa and Montreal, and many of the riders are on warranty frames. Almost any bike related media site has a significantly uncommon amount of negative feedback in regards to Dartmoor frames. I mean, everyone will talk crap about other brands, based on fact or simply just BS, but I don't think it can be healthy when you hear that much negative feedback from that many sources. There is far better offerings from NS, and even Octane one, which already come from an incredible distributor Lama cycles.

If you are referring to Dartmoor AL frames that were produced before 2012, I wouldn't disagree. However, the 26Player with the tapered head tube has proven to be a far stronger frame in comparison to the model that was offered in the 1 1/8" head tube. As with any NS or Octane One frame, Dartmoor also offers a full year of warranty with their frames and products. Regardless of what you may think, all frames in this category (DJ/SS) from all brands, do suffer from damages that can result in failure, the abusive nature of the sport results in this. I have seen NS/Octane one frame crack and break as well, whether or not it is within their warranty period.
