Because the camera is not meant to do video, but this software can make it. And the camera needs to be connected to a computer at all times for it to work.

ohhh... haha thats tight. well it came out well. So the amount of video you can shoot depends on the laptop battery

Yes, and the frame rate depends on the laptop as well. So we needed a fast laptop with a lot of battery life.

Actually it was really cumbersome. We used this software, so we brought a laptop up with us.
