 those are called channel locks they are a type of pliers

 how do you get it off though? I don't understand why they still bother making grips that aren't lock-on, they are such a pain in the ass.

 No glue? Those grips would be coming off or ripped in no time. I use clear acrylic to put my grips on. They slide on and wont EVER move, when I want them off I cut them off..

 use to do it with hairspray, slippery at first but sticks to the handlebar like superglue XD .well not really but it works...good idea to use zip ties, though

 Thats exactly how I enstalled my sensus grips a couple of days ago. Works really well.

 umm yeah, pretty much everyone who owns a bike and is serious about riding should have a million. they are the duck-tape of biking. They are ALOT more common then air compressors...

 It´s not good idea for installing the grips. Better is suds (soap water)

 i use wd40 to put mine on slippery for bit when dry they dont move at all

 one problem, i want to know how to remove those grips... Smile lol
