what did i do wrong?

my rear xt der. is hitting my lower gear rings. helpp?!

 There are 3 screws. 2 should be pretty close together - these are the high/low adjustments. There should be another one by its self - try screwing this in and it will push the derailleur away from the cassette. Hope this helps.

 The B screw (same one as ash is talking about) should be right by where the hanger and the derraileur are.

 yeah it was somthing to do with the B screw, it wasnt on the tab on the der. hanger like it should be. got it fixedBig Grin

 Does it do that if you push the cage further toward the cranks? Maybe your chain is too long.

 ill check that out but idk i made it a few links short when i first got it.

 adjust the B screw (adjust the height of the top cog relative to the cassette)
