I could ride that trail all day long...looking forward to when the bottom-half of the trail opens up! Props to the builders, there is a ton of lumber back there, and it must have been a lot of hard work. Kicking Horse is great for a 3 hour drive from Calgary, especially if you don't have the time to drive the extra 3+ hours to Silver Star!

IV been there and trust me they were going pretty fast for how steep it is, plus you should have in mind that Kicking horse is in golden and mt 7 is in golden also and it is where the mt 7 phycosis is held, but 08 was the 10 anniversary of the phycosis and sadly the last but keep in mind that the phycosis is held in golden B.C. and that golden is a very very very small town, but at the same time the phycosis was a race that some big names like Sam hill, nathan rennie, steve smith, chris cavoric, gee and the atherton crew would go out of there way to attend, and trust my from the 10k down i just about $*%& my pants with how steep it was. not that this really has anything to do with Kicking horse but they are in the same area/mtn range so they are pretty similar terrain.
but altogether this is just something interesting to know
