Thank man, haha i went with an HV40, not even one discussed, but it seemed similar to the dvx100 because it has different frame rate and things like that. and it was much cheaper only $950

whats settings did you use to render your videos? i also have a Hv40 and I dont really no what settings to use... Btw im using sony vegas pro 9

yea man, just bought the FX7 today along with a rode shotgun videomic and a few other things! so stoked. I will post up photos of all my gear when i get it.

yeah it took a while to get the computer stuff right. i found a firewire port too so thats good. yeah ill post a pic of my stuff too. i bough 2 jag35mm adapters from a guy i know for like $200 so that was sick. we should do some filming in the summer make a longish movie or something?

ohh and if you haven't already, you should make a track dolly. Really comes in handy and makes for some nice shots.

Don’t know, haven't made one yet but it’s primarily built with aluminum so I’d say around $50-$60, rough guess.
