HAHA...thats the Sport/beg course and was my first ever DH race. The expert/pro section is usually more tech and steeper. A lot of the sections were steeper than they look on the video...look where I slid out and the last rock garden before the wall...the wall sucks but makes or breaks you on endurance if you don't have it.

good effort for your first race man... pay no attention to this ryan doucher... he's still a baby and he can't even spell embarrassing on a computer with spell check.... but yea, gotta start somewhere... no one can go out and be sam hill their very first race... just work on your sprints and you'll better that time by 50 seconds... the wall is what broke ya, and it does a lot of riders ... thumbs up to ya... i'll be out there on january 9 for my first race... keep it up!!!

Ha, Thanks Hammerdown I don't pay attention....he is just a little kid anyways...Hell I am almost 38 and have been racing and riding longer than he has even been alive. Besides wait till he is on his late 30's and doesn't move like the 18 yo he used to be.....But racing both 4X and DH not to mention the drive from Vegas say morning each race is tough....plus squeezing in practice for each. Still mostly focused on 4X but have been training super hard the last few months. I should be at every race so see ya there.

haha....you will figure it out when you get older....I took a 8+ year break from riding during that time so I have no shame in my riding ability....Just glad to be back on the bike again after that time...either give me props for riding and getting back into the sport or don't say anything at all....

Thanks man....no 30 was a long time ago 38 now...that was when I started getting back into BMX with my son. Then off bikes for most of 2008 and 2009 then this year I hit most of the Fontana races just doing 4x except for the 2 DH races....The last time I was on a DH bike was in 1992 when 4"s was a lot of travel...that was in Big Bear CA. I miss being 18 with no responsibilities and no fear...takes longer to heal now adays. I will be racing Fontana this year so see ya there...and good job on your first race especially being in the dark. Hopefully I will have a DH bike again soon to race 4X and DH ...we'll see.
