Commute home from work

One of the first playful shots with my new POV camera. Kinda fun, I guess.

Oh, nice. I've never been to Calgary but I thought i saw some of the same landmarks that I saw in Ottawa a while ago. I tried to delete my comment to make me feel like less of an idiot, but, it was too late.

No worries! Good to know that other cities have just as much green as Calgary.

Love it! I get to ride the SW side of that trail everyday. The Douglas Fur run is lots of fun in the snow.

Ha, nice. But yes, you're right (the second time, I mean), it's Calgary (which, as far as I'm aware, isn't Ottawa). The video shows my trek north through downtown, a spin east along the Bow river pathway, a quick blast past the zoo, and then a northward turn past the new location for the science centre.

I've never riden NE past the zoo. How much further does it go?

About as far as you like. When I'm feeling particularly frisky on my way home I'll go all the way north along the path until I reach a rather nice big park with a memorial forest and a little ravine (valley?), which sits just a little bit east of Nose Hill. I'm not too sure how much farther the path goes past there, but I'm sure you could take it almost right to the edge of the city. Take a ride through there some time, it's really nice.
