Hey there, awesome video! By the camera name did you mean the GoPro HD Hero or is the one you mentioned (DH Hero) a separate one? How much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!!

Thanks! The camera is the GoPro HD Hero, it was a typo
The price will always depend a lot on the currency rate and taxes you pay on imports from the US (assuming you order it on the company's website), and also on how many additional parts you order (chest mount, handlebar mount, ...). I can't remember exactly how much it cost me, but I guess some €250 with several additional mounts, plus Portuguese import duties. The dollar was very cheap then!!

That's not too bad. Thanks for the quick reply Smile How do you feel the normal GoPro quality compares to the GoPro HD, do you reckon there's a massive difference? Cheers!

To be honest I've never used or seen footage from the normal GoPro... since the currency was very favourable at the time, I just grabbed one of the new ones!

Nice (sorry for the late reply!)
I forgot to ask: what mount did you use in the video? Does that come with the helmet hero pack or did you get it separately?

The mount is one of those small things you attach (industrial glue) to the helmet, and then the camera mounts on it (not sure if it comes with the standard pack, but i believe so). In this case i'm using a couple of other simple mounts that pull the camera away a bit from the helmet and let me ajust the angle a bit
