Larch Hills Traverse

Sharon, Adrian and I did the Bostock variation of the Larch Hills Traverse. Temps were 30 deg +. We climbed 1100m; 29kms of suffering

 This Year when I ride the Traverse ............. I will have Paid my dues to the STA.

 That is one crazy trail . I did it today from Sicamous to #110 FSR and back.

 We actually did ride it all the way but in reverse. Sharon has all the GPS data. Lots more climbing the way we did it. Definitely better the conventional way.

 Yeah i saw that & see also the pinkbike article. Their focus was on drinking and houseboats. Also that older pb article and the NSMB article was on the trails BEFORE the pretty big amount of work on the trails that took place in fall of 2009 (ie Ravine trail aka Superman got built). Plus they used the same stock photos from someone who was with them on the ride. Our article is a bit more weighted in favour of actual riding as opposed to apres-riding. Plus I think Larch has lots of eye-candy views that showcase well in video

 tx - i hope it showcases Larch well. Its more interesting than previous articles make it out to be and we are noting in our writeup that 20kms more of singletrack is going to be added pending funding by the Shuswap Trails Alliance
