Our new Fanuc Robotic arm

This is our new toy, destined to work with our new Okuma cnc machine 24/7 365 days a year making us a lights out operation. Booyah! This will either impress you or bore you but I will fire up a video when it is in production mode all caged in.

For sure dude. like send it over, I'll plug it into the main frame and make it like a cup of coffee. Its that easy! Actually I its harder than that but there is no harm in asking right!

If I supply you with a 1 ton block of aluminum, and pay for the machine time, can you cnc me a full size porcupine?

Better get that sucka bolted to the floorSmile When in school in Detroit I saw one back assward circle command prompt and 100% feed rip one outta the floor. The same scenario would send yers into a back flip...wait a minute...get that on videoWink

Ummm probably need less then that but if I can keep the excess material, sure. I'll make it out of "solid billet, aircraft aluminum, areospace grade aluminum alloys".
Actually this is a dumb request.
NO!

Check this helmet being carved out of a block of aluminum, pretty sick. It took probably 6 days but the film keeps it short.

Congrats on going lights-out. Is it new or new-for-you?
I'm always happy when I can run a program a program into the night - it sure is a nice feeling going to bed knowing that the machines are still making money Smile

It's new yes. We never had the room to implement any arms before but we bought up the neighbors and kicked some walls down. We bought a new automated saw to keep up with material processing, now we need to work on conveyor belt lines and more robotics. Accepting donations or new proud owners of SL gear asap!
