Nordic Mt. Halloween

 Wow thats news to me! Thanks for the info. WORS is full of shit, They always have treated the downhillers as the redheaded step children of mountain biking. Last year felt like they were pushing us aside, and perhaps trying to phase out DH all together. I voiced my concerns to WORS many times and each time was told that this was not the case, and that they were very interested in keeping DH at Nordic as well as tiring to add a few more venues. I guess I see how they feel about DH now.... Fucking asses.

 Well here is a quote from an email from Rick, the owner of Nordic Mt.....
"I don’t think WORS is going to have a DH event with the Subaru Cup this year. We are planning on doing a race a in the spring, as well as one in the fall at our other resort, Blackjack. "

 I don't know much about WORS as I haven't been involved in any races yet, but maybe the major lack of venues for DH races is the reason why. Where in WIsconsin besides Nordic could there be a DH event? I've heard a little bit about Rib Mountain, but not much else.

 Thanks! Are they having the race again next season? I checked the WORS site and it looks like a 2 day event there, but I don't know if they are doing the DH race. I'll have to do a bit more searching, I'd love to enter.

 yeah, most likely you wont see much about it on wors. It should be Fathers day weekend though.
