freeriderjeff mtb is run nd all but motocross just has tht extra speed and adreniline rush at the races it is the worlds funnest sport in my opinion if u rsace its mint but u have 2 have more confidence 4 racing on a mx bike thts wat puts alot of people off

thats a sweet video, my dad bought him and i some yamaha ttr 230s this year and we have had so much fun just rippin around but i wanna leanr how to jump on them, is it mostly like jumping a big bike?

yea man. when u are approaching a jump, u gotta have your eblows up, standing up, your knees tightly grabbing the sides of the tank of the bike and have smooth acceleration over the the face of the jump and also get back on the gas when u land. Also because u have a 4 stroke, in the air the front end tends to dip down because of the 'engine braking' in the air so u should also give it some quick burps of throttle while u are in the air. One last tip is you should approach the jump and then brake and roll over it when u are attempting a new jump, this will help gauge the amount of speed u will need. Each time u approach the jump, approach with more and more speed until u build confidence in yourself knowing that you have enough speed.

i used to have a crf230 and jumping them is pretty easy just make sure u dont go over the bars like i did a few times... if u wanna do anything bigger than a 25-30ft table id get a bike with more solid suspension tho.

you can be sitting down its seat bouncing its just for bigger jumps you cant clear by just normal jumping, just do what the guy said above and stay on the gas all the way though the jump, it compreses the suspention

i must admit thats a pretty sick little practice tack

nice corners but your jumping style is seriously ugly, you shouldnt have to lean all the way back just to land level, you should be standing and your chin should be over the bars. u rip the corners though

everyones bitchin about their jumping style, but it's probobly just mtb inspired, lean back and squash, for dh
