Well, frig me to tears! There you all were -- gone. You kids and your skateboards and your 90210. That was poppin'-fresh and cool and t!ts, ol' man. Logan getting zesty and squiggly, with Moolay in tow. You're getting tree sap on that jacket --- lifetime warranty. Trying to rip it again, hey? But, still...man, I had no idea. None. At all. I was under the impression that Newfies simply cannot ride bicycles. Next, I bet you're going to tell me Jamaican's can ride bicycles.

Make sure to give me a ring for the next one, Moolay. If she'd going to go down on a Friday, I'll call work and say, "Sigh! You know...I just don't have it in me today." *Click!* *Beep boop beep...boop boop beep boop.* "Ay. See you out there." *Click!* "Yee-doggoe!"

Thanks to a phone call from Reggie on the Thursday prior, I got to utilize a personal day (read: I took the day off work to ride my bike). And so it was on Friday, February 4th, 2011 that a hike-a-bike day materialized. That SLOG -- or, as I will call it henceforth, The Oxymoron -- is a gem.

Reg estimated The Oxymoron was at the 87th percentile, going by the winter percentile rating system, or W.P.R.S., for mountain biking. Windy-as-frig at the top dropped 'er down some; some icy spots in the turns lowered the score a tad more; but some exposed dirt -- glory be to Dirt, most high -- helped keep the final tally at a decent grade, all of which added up to 87%. Pretty sweet in my books. Great winter shredding!

Mother of pearl, that hike is a litmus test -- I need to get more fit. Also, I need to, and will, get a set of crampons that will actually stay on my trusty Five Tens. Got me some chores to do. Frig it, I'm getting a set of crampons today. Who has a stopwatch? Somebody time me.

Word.
