I went out to Sooke yesterday to document Kevin's first ride on his new V10. Here is the edit (my first).

Not bad for a first edit. Colors needs some work though.

thanks! do they need work at any point in particular? or overall? And to fix them would you suggest shooting at a different WB in the first place? or is it something I needed to do post? ...I use the cs5 premier pro and really don't know my way around it very well...

Mainly the riding scenes. It looks like it got pretty sunny out during the riding so the camera automatically over corrected and turned down the exposure which doesn't allow for all the natural colors to show. You can use a different manual setting on your camera that allows for more reds and greens to be seen or in editing you can mess with your contrast or your color balances. I don't know premiere as I use final cut. I had to learn by going out and shooting 10 seconds of the same thing in every setting on the camera, putting them on the computer to see what they looked like and then messed with all the different editing techniques.
