hi mate do u have a direct mount stem on thos forks cose i was wondering which 1 is better direct or mount or slide on

yes mate its a sunline v1 direct mount stem its much better and gives you bike a better look i would buy direct mount stem if i were you

direct mount is fine if you can afford a new frame or dont mind having it dented every time you crash.

direct mount has no affect on you frame

didnt mean to post that then not reply.. all i meant was brake levers and other bits are left looser so when you crash they spin instead of snap. its the same with bars, if they are mounted to the forks when the forks hit the frame you have the extra leverage of the bars which will push the forks against the frame and fork legs are stronger than frames so they end up like most race bikes you see these days with dents on the top tube which most people think is the norm now...
