well this was my first legit camera. i love it. its easy to use and takes great pictures.check these out www.flickr.com/photos/jevonsc . i recomend it. it films in 1080 p super dope

i baught the d5100 package with the lens for 899?? i think. i have no clue how much the d3000 would cost. check around ebay to see! goodluck
