i love the bike, dont get me wrong
but aaron said it "you gotta be 100% confident with the bike"
i hope a new bike dont screw him up.

obviously a new bike didnt screw him up seeing as how he won the first race on it. "first race, first place"

Immensley pinned!! but still dont like him
think it may be because im not used to the name being first all the time

Agreed, he is also dull as dishwater. I could probably have a better conversation with a brick wall.

Aaron's a bloody good rider but i still prefer Cedric Gracia cus hes funny plus he adds style into his riding even on runs

Exactly, a bit of flair in racing is what you need. If gwin was a lively character he'd probably have my support but he just doesnt seem to have the spark that other racers have. Not taking anything from his current winning streak as he's a machine. The guy just need to lighten up a little!
- + 8
Have you seen him scrub/whip/pin? Of course you haven't. If you had, you wouldn't have said he needed more spark...
- + 7
why does everyone thing he so up tight?? watch his old yeti videos and it shows hes not all business
- + 1
he says that frame is ahead of all the other frames, in what way?! there are plenty carbon frames out way before this...
- + 1
The fact that its carbon isn't the only thing that makes it shit on other frames. there are so many other factors about downhill bikes
- + 0
say carbon v10 versus carbon session, they are both carbon and have both beaten eachother at WC level, but when it comes down to performance it surely depends on the riders preference so he was actually talking ballshit
- - 3
Lol, your a stupid ignorant idiot, i wasn't saying the bike wan't shit, i was saying he was talking shit because he said its so much better than all the rest of the bikes, and, going by the alu one carbon can't of changed it all that much (obviously you will have different tracking capabilities ect) but its also down to rider preference.

Fool, do you know what frame geometry is? It's what makes every bike unique. And given that the session has won FIVE world cups this year, I'd say it's got an edge that goes a little beyond rider preference. It's a better bike...
- + 5
nick, you are completely correct yet completely wrong. every bike has different geometries which make it better at different things. the session didnt win the world cups, gwin did. sam hill was dominating on the sunday. winning by up to 13 seconds sometimes time after time. more wins than gwin. so is the sunday better than the session? no. the session has its good points and the v10, especially the new geometry has its good points and hell, even the sunday even had good points. every bike does give the rider an edge but they are in different points. lets just stop this argument aite? its kinda stupid

why are people so concerned with VOD and POD?
Though I'm sure this will receive some acknowledgement from pinkbike beyond being posted to the home page, I see this a blend of art and advertising and yeah, it is really good, but how good it is will remain unchanged by the level of exposure it gets on pinkbike. If you like it, share it on facebook or twitter and get other people interested in biking, or if you think it is great say why, you liked it so we can push the genre farther. But squabbling over VODs won't give film makers like Larock the feedback they need to make even better work.
so that said, I like this edit because while it is blatant trek promotion, it also includes a strong narrative that thematically relates to the new bike. It isn't a weak narrative of someone went dirt jumping and oh by the way he used Sram XO components. This story actually involved the bike Gwin rides and therefore it didn't feel awkward that he kept mentioning trek and their support. I think this is a prime example for other film makers doing sponsored mountain bike edits, of how to integrate multiple interests and create a beautiful hybrid.
nice work Aaron!

Aaron is showing great sportsmanship at the top level. For an athlete to be at that top level and be able to show humility is rare and deserves honorable mention. I can imagine why he seems so subdued with each win at the moment. Some of my best coaches in rugby and other sports through the years have always made sure we kept our ego in check through the season as we went game to game, because the season and championship isn't won until the final whistle. To be at the top, you need to build from success and move forward from knowing your weaknesses.
Anyways, I'm just stoked to see Gwin, Peat and Smith up at the top.

Sam Hill and Aaron Gwin are definitely two of a kind. Such different riders, and yet its just as exciting watching either of them racing... Love the Carbon Trek too looks mint. Great Video =D

Still i would say Hill on his old IR is the biggest legend within racing. he's done some pretty "impossible" stuff..
Now every seems to forgotten about Gee? dont kill me if i'm rong
Not saying anything against gwin! he's having a insane season! and on that new trek, having a hope for a vid from larock where he can show that he can shred! not only ble a serious racer

That's a great video, but... again a vod is a movie that I've already seen because it was in the news on the home page... I have a feeling that whoever choses vods is a bit lazy and don't want to spend time looking for an interesting videos that users upload...
I know I can be neg propped for that comment, but that's just my opinion and I'll stick with it

What is it that makes that clicking noise when he walks the bike at 2:05, I have noticed the same noise coming from other peoples bikes when i'm at the mountain when they walk theirs and i know its not a bad thing, but what is it? My bike never does it.

Nice Dh bike. Love the new treks but i wish it was a close world cup not Gwin winning by like 6 seconds everytime, It just gets boring after a while............ Just my opinion, dont want anyone to take offense or to be angry...
