2011 Alberta Downhill Provincials - Course Preview
This year the 2011 Alberta Downhill Provincials will be held at Canyon Bike Resort in Red Deer. The hill is approximately 10 minutes out of town and is the biggest non-mountain lift accessed track in Alberta. U13 Riders will be allowed to race, ride-around lines have been created on course. It's hard getting the visual on how big this hill is. It's about double the size of Rabbit Hill. 517ft vertical actually. That makes it bigger in vertical than Kamloops Bike Ranch.
