Our first trip to Cwmcarn

This was our first couple of runs at Cwmcarn with a really funny crash. What a place will be back asap

Nice video, Cwmcarn looks epic. Me and a friend were looking to go over the summer but we didn't make it down:/ Just wondering, how do you think an XC and an all mountain bike would cope? Saves us getting all the way there and finding it's not right for out bikes, cheers

Its an awesome place but its hard on your kit, we learned that very quick. You need good brakes, tyres, tubes and body amour. On my last run down of the day i had a big off and broke my wrist. We had punctures and other issues with bike's not been up to the job. However if you take it steady and not do anything stupid you'll have one hell of a day. Hope this helps good luck

And don't have a skin full the night before! As I learned quickly as every uplift I felt sick as a dog! It really knocked my riding confidence! But it serves me right cuz it was self inflicted. There was xc trails too that were massive so if that's your thing, your in for treat.....just leave the shots and lager at home!!!

Thanks for the reply, I guess i'll need some new kit first! Sorry to hear about your wrist! Hope it's healing well. It sounds like a gnarly place though, can't wait to get everything sorted again and have a good go at it. Cheers

They had some repairs to do apparently. There was a bit of subsidence by the looks of it.
