Tiny air

Retardedly low air, Tips?

Dugan has some decent tips www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG-IdaMw2HQ

I think you pop out of the quarter a tad too early. What you should do is first pull a little manual kinda thing so that your front wheel goes over the coping (kinda like beginning of a bunny hop). You shouldn't turn too much at this point cause you're trying to go up Razz . The moment you leave the quarter is when your rear wheel is at the top of the quarter, and at this point you should still be facing upwards. If you think about it as a bunny hop, that would be the moment when your rear tire leaves the ground. Turning shouldn't be a big problem, just lean in and curve just a little at the lip (not too much cause, again, you're trying to go up) and you should land face forwards Big Grin

Otherwise it all looks good, you just basically turn too early and therefore don't get the right motion. I know it can be a bit scary not to pop and turn when your front wheel hits the coping, but that's pretty much the only thing that keeps you from airing out properly.

E: OMFG what a novel Eek

let your front wheel go off the coping, don't turn until your back wheel takes off the coping too, and don't force a 180 or anything, you turn naturally when you're off the coping. Also aim to land your front wheel at the top of the ramp just below the coping no matter how low/high you go.

what you do is go straight and dont turn till you are out the quater fully it will be scary but its safe if you case/land flat

i have watched it in slow mo and the main thing is i need to let my back wheel pop off of the coping rather than just my front

Go Straight up, pump off the quarter, don't hop, you'll come round naturally and like aim to land smooth Smile
