The 20mm travel spacer has been removed to increase the travel, so all that's left to do is reassemble the fork.

Oh that would be awesome! Please do so! If one thing is lacking here on Pinkbike, its proper tech videos. I get so many question on the tech videos I have done, which means there are too many clueless people! The Boxxer bing a widely used fork is needing some attention!

very good point, they could do with a service as i have noticed some stiction and the compression isnt consistent anymore. I will have have to order some 7.5 and 2.5wt fluid then hahaha and maybe some blue enduro seals also?

My mate is using the enduro seals on his 55 and says his fork feels much smoother!

Okay, Nice to see you work on this! So this fork has 'only' air in it..
  • + 1
Yep air only, i like that for xc riding because it keeps the weight down on the fork.
  • + 1
that makes sense.. it's nice to see others work on their bikes, or actually anything technical.. The only thing i'm asking myself : 'Am i the only one with nothing but questions..?? Thay just pop up in my head...

Defiantly not, i constantly ask questions about all kinds of stuff. Nobody knows everything and asking questions is the best way to learn! Smile
