 it's a good start, but the next step would be catching the barspin with your hands instead of letting the ground stop the wheel for you.

 wouldnt it be compression though, because the top cap and bolt compresses the assembly together Confused meh

 nope. the bearings are preloaded because the actual load comes from the rider, that just puts a little load on beforehand! but i totally get what you mean though, it's just the way the world spins
