Have u got a regular width chain to try on instead of a narrow link type ? if it cures it you will know if the jockey is the problem, some chainguides using toothed wheels aren't compatable with narrow linked chains and the amount of flex a on 9 speed set up.

looks like the teeth spacing on that jockey wheel aren't compatable with 9 speed narrow width chains or something, well werid ? How u tried bolting a jockey wheel off a E13 on to see if thats the case ?

It only does it in the top gears and when pedalling back.....tried spacing it out but makes no difference. The chain is tracking off. It's ok in the lower gears.

If it was the chain it would catch when pedaling which it does not seem to do. The backplate is not sitting very well at all due to the frame being in the way.
