Forget sand blasting your frame real men use harsh chemicals that literately melt the finish away in no time.

circa 1897 is the product that is well known, rona in canada and homehardware and their own furniture stripper its gel alcohol burns like shit and will burn eyes in less than a second, WEAR EYE PROTECTION and it eats through most rubber gloves. I also use it all the time, and have scars on my cornea and get to see them everyday. with proper PPE this is the best way to do a frame.

Welcome to the club. Totally worth it though to not have to sand down any paint
