Mellow Red Gate ride

 Yea, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get there from Eureka. It's called red gate trail, it's about 1/4-1/2 mile past the post office on Kneeland. The trail head is on the left hand side of the road as you are driving up the hill just behind a brownish/red colored gate, there is room for one or two cars directly in front of the gate but I wouldn't park there, Green Diamond gets mad. If you make it to the rock quarry/ cut off for maple creek you gone too far, it's about 800 ft back the way you just came. Just as a heads up, Green Diamond had fell about 100 trees down the first 500 ft of trail or so, so I would go scout it out before just bombing down there on your bike.
